If we go to two day events, what about quads, ladies and vets on Saturday and the rest on Sunday. I don't mind riding a smoother track and I'm pretty sure most of the girls would be keen for a six round series.

Hey Sly I agree with Shan a good post with what was obviously a lot of thought and one that could possibly do the trick, but my thoughts are that there are too many riders on the sunday for the organising committee to cater for everyone so the obvious answer is to go with Dave's idea above and like Dave I'm all for a smoother track.

Dave, love the idea of vets, quads and ladies on the sat. This will free up the program for the clubman class to run two heats and also any Vets that are willing and able to run in another class get a nights rest before the big one on sunday.

How good would that be to race on sat, drinks sat night and watch the racing on sunday.

i dont like our luck with 2 day events .. but hey .. its only 6 times per year and would only be great benefit to the sport .. eg room to grow !!

wa/perth is always said to be way behind in the times .. this is just a classic example of why we get left behind and left out (eg super x not coming etc etc )

how do other states runs their major events ? maybe some research can be done into what goes on over east or even in the USA / europe

i cant see any harm . but maybe we need to email this thread to organizers.
maybe they can ask some questions about what everyone would like to do at riders meetings .. best spot to get all 200+ riders and at least get a show of hands on who be keen for 2 day events if it is even feasible.

and hey yea great idea with the quads, girls vets .. just need to make sure there is enough track prep time to clean it up enough for the events the next day.

im only 4 years away from vets , so maybe something might happen by then if we get the ball rolling now. ha ha
