With the support from Rockstar Energy Drink Cam will finally get a chance to show his full potential, when the X Games goes to Mexico City on September the 7th till the 9th.

After a two week stint riding in Southern California before X Games 13 in LA, preparations were complete ready for the Moto X Best Trick event, however unfortunately on that occasion it was not meant to be.

The trip was most defiantly not a waste of time however as it became the perfect opportunity to meet and great with some key players in the U.S freestyle motocross scene; whilst making a long term plan for success internationally as well as in Australia.

Since making strong ties with Rockstar Energy on his U.S trip last year and with the future release of Rockstar Energy in Australia on October 1st this year, senior management of the beverage giant have agreed to support Cam into the future, beginning with a deal to help him compete in his first X Games Best Trick contest in Mexico.  They are also the naming sponsor of the event, proving there strong commitment to action sports around the world.

The Mexico games will include the Moto X Best Trick event, Skate events and also BMX. In Moto X there are only ten riders worldwide selected to compete, one of which being Cam.

“I am so excited to finally get to compete in the X Games.  Winning an X Games medal has always been my ultimate dream, I’m going to make the most of this opportunity and try and do just that.”

In the mean time before the event it’s back to the foam pit to perfect his tricks and prepare for what will be the biggest event of his career to date.  The X Games provides the opportunity to perform in front of an enormous audience with coverage on ESPN aired across the globe to about 180 million homes.

A huge thanks goes out to Cam’s sponsors for their continued support:  Honda, Alpinestars, Anger Management, Globe, Electric Visual, Reikon, Pro Circuit, Ogio, Balls Deep Boxers, Powerhouse Motorcycles, Polisport and Vidman Design.
