Team Cool Air Troy Carroll Racing riders, Jake Pengelly, Adam Monea and Troy Carroll head to Perth this weekend to battle for the podium at the first round of the 2008 Australian SuperX Championships. After a very successful maiden Motocross season on board Kawasaki in ’08 that saw the team walk away with 2nd place in the Pro Lites class, all attention is now focused on continuing the winning momentum as they head into the new Series.

That winning momentum will be thrust along by the return of 12 time Australian Champion Troy Carroll to the line up. After injuring his shoulder early in the Motocross Series, Troy has worked hard to get himself back to race fitness for the opening round this weekend.

Add to the mix, the talented Adam Monea who turned many heads with his 2nd place achievement in the ‘08 MX Series plus the rapidly improving Jake Pengelly and Team Cool Air Troy Carroll Racing look to be one of the teams to beat in the upcoming SuperX Series.

“I’m on fire and ready to race!” says Pro Open rider, Troy Carroll.

“I’ve put in lots of practise hours and feel very good. The shoulder feels strong and I’m really happy with the KX450F and how it takes me around a Supercross track. I’d like to thank Axis Motorsport for their great suspension and a big thanks to Kawasaki for supplying such a great Supercross bike.”

Pro Lites rider, Adam Monea is also looking forward to the first round, saying, “I feel good. I’ve ridden and set up my KX250F race bike and it feels great. I plan to go one better in the SuperX and finish on top!”

Watch for Team Cool Air Troy Carroll Racing riders, Jake Pengelly, Adam Monea and Troy Carroll at the front of the pack at the first round of the Australian SuperX Championships in Perth this weekend 4-5 October.
