A fantastic week for team Moss Institute, with Moss Institute rider Daniel Shrimp taking the championship in both the oldest 250cc and the 125cc classes at the Junior Nationals. Daniel said “it was a dream come true to take out both the classes it has been two years in the planning working hard with Greg from Moss Institute, it wouldn’t be possible without Greg’s help”

Megan Rutledge riding for Moss Institute also had an unbeatable week winning both the female riders classes at the junior Nationals 85cc and lites. Meg said,” I am over the moon with my results and cant thank Greg, Rona Matt and Jake Moss enough for all their help and training I couldn’t have done it with out them”.

Other Moss Institute riders Ben Hussey and Hunter Lawrence also podiumed in the 85cc and 65cc classes respectively.

As soon as the Junior Nationals wrapped up is was on to Round 1 of the Australasian SuperX Championships in Perth. Where Moss Institute coaches Jake Moss took the win in the lites class with Matt Moss coming a close second. “ I am stoked to take the Round 1 win today especially with my arm that I broke two weeks ago – I really wouldn’t have minded if Matt had caught and passed me but only would have been happy if Matt was do that” Jake said.

Matt had a bad start coming from about 8th position – “ I used up most of my energy moving in to 2nd place, I got close to Jake but started to tire and decided to stick with second place, I’m really happy Jake came 1st but hopefully I can take the win from him in the 2nd round if I get a decent start!

Matt and Jake Moss along with their coach Greg Moss will be holding a Supercross school at Appin NSW October 11th – for entry forms and details check out the website www.mossyonline.com.au
